About this rug

Five vertical stripes, rather than rows of guls, make up this small Bokhara. Three cream bands carry columns of burgundy hooked diamonds, two burgundy bands carry stepped ivory-and-black medallions, and narrow rust stripes of tiny chevrons run between them. A burgundy border of small ivory geometric figures frames the whole, and ivory fringing trims the two short ends.
