About this rug

Eighty-five small guls cover the rose-red field of this Bokhara in five columns of seventeen, each ivory with a dark outline and a touch of blue-grey at its centre. Small dark crosses between them form a second, finer grid. The borders build outwards in narrow stripes to a band of ivory and blue-grey rosettes, and a panel of dense diamond lattice sits at each end above a white fringe.
