About this rug

Two large diamonds filled with a fine red and ivory lattice sit above and below a pale ivory hexagon at the centre of this brick-red tribal Shirwan, its inner panel navy and green. Navy stars flank the centre, and ivory and green S-hooks, comb motifs and small rosettes are scattered over the rest of the field. Several borders frame it, the main one ivory with small red and navy stars between near-black guards. Long cream fringes finish both ends.
