About this rug

Nearly three metres wide, this Mashad covers almost 12 m² of floor. A round, scalloped medallion sits at its centre, built up in rings of navy, light blue and camel around a soft salmon core. Light-blue, gold and ivory flowers crowd the wine-red field, while navy and blue-grey blossoms fill the corners rather than plain colour. The navy main border has large gold, ivory and light-blue flowers, with ivory guard stripes of small navy motifs inside and out.

Every colour in it, from wine red to light blue, is 100% wool hand-knotted in Mashad, Iran. Our Persian Mashad rugs also come in smaller sizes.
