About this rug

Gold runs all through this red Kashan: it edges the navy medallion, picks out flowers across the field and fills the palmettes of the deep aubergine border. The medallion holds an ivory band and a pale blue core around a red rosette, and navy pendants extend from its tips. Navy corners finish in ivory with a little pale blue, and fine scrolling vines carry red, ivory and gold blossoms across the remaining red ground.
