About this rug

Large golden palmettes and rosettes stand out on the black ground of this Ziegler chobi. A column of palmettes runs down the centre, with honey and mustard flowers on either side and a few pale sea-green leaves for contrast. The motifs are big and widely spaced, with plenty of black between them. The ivory border repeats gold palmettes with small black details, and a narrow black band closes the outer edge.
