A traditional vintage Persian Sheikh Safi Tabriz rug, hand-knotted in Iran from 100% wool. The design features a rich red field centred by an ivory floral medallion, surrounded by large stylised palmettes, scrolling vines and smaller blossoms. A detailed navy border with repeating floral cartouches frames the composition. Its warm palette combines red, navy and ivory with olive green, brown, muted blue and gold accents. The rug is in authentic vintage condition with visible age-related wear throughout the pile, consistent with its age and history.
