About this rug

Mustard and apricot take the place of the familiar red in this jaldar Bokhara. Black lines draw a lattice of diamonds over the apricot field, with a cross-shaped medallion at every junction and a small golden motif inside each diamond. The wide mustard border is set with black-and-ochre octagons between several narrow guard stripes, and a rust-brown edge and ivory fringe finish it.
