About this rug

Saffron gold is the accent colour of this Ziegler chobi: golden lotus palmettes and sunflower-like rosettes with duck-egg-blue centres float on a wine-red field, linked by thin stems of small gold, ivory and pale blue flowers. The layout is open rather than dense and mirrored left to right, so plenty of red ground shows between the motifs. The wide butter-cream border carries palmettes in gold and blue-grey between narrow golden guard stripes.
