About this rug

The deep burgundy centre of this wool-and-silk Jaipur rug is shaped like a long, round-ended oval and scattered with tiny flowers. In the middle sits a navy lobed medallion with a mustard-gold diamond and a pale grey-blue star at its heart, and smaller navy pendants point towards either end. A band of ivory, dense with floral sprigs, wraps the oval, while each dark corner holds a small round rosette. The navy main border carries cream and burgundy flower-heads between narrow gold-toned stripes, and both ends are fringed in cream.
