About this rug

Sixteen guls in two columns of eight cover the deep red field, each one ivory with dark brown quartering and touches of golden yellow. Small cross-shaped motifs sit between the pairs. Several borders surround the field: narrow guards of tiny ivory dots and a main band of ivory and gold star rosettes on red, with ivory fringes at both ends.

Knotters in Pakistan worked its 100% natural wool by hand into a pile around 8 mm deep, and at 160 × 95 cm it slips under a small coffee table, beside a queen bed or into an entrance hall. Single-column and runner layouts are also in our Karachi Bokhara range.
