About this rug

Open floral sprays and palmettes in rose red, slate blue and sage are scattered loosely over a pale cream field rather than set in a tight repeat: a small rosette marks the centre, with larger sprays above, below and to either side of it. The wide border is a faded rose red filled with cream palmettes, inside a narrow cream outer stripe.
