About this rug

What sets this red Bokhara apart are its end bands, where gold, blue-grey and ivory hooks interlock in a wide strip across the top and bottom. In the field, five guls in ivory, pale blue and gold sit one above the other, with pink and ivory arrow motifs at the edges between them. The side borders alternate star rosettes with small panels of short bars in ivory, red and dark brown, and white fringes finish the ends.

Its natural wool, 100% pure, was knotted by hand in Pakistan to a depth close to 8 mm; it would suit a landing, a walk-in wardrobe or the floor in front of a desk. Our Karachi Bokhara rugs include more small sizes.
