About this rug

It was knotted in Kashan itself, the city its design is named after. A grey-beige floral medallion with small pendants sits at the centre of the cream field, ringed by scrolling vines with tiny flowers in navy, plum, soft gold and olive. A light grey-beige border of palmettes runs between narrow guard stripes.
