About this rug

Tiny guls cover the brick-red centre of this Khoja Roshnai, each a small dark round with an ivory cross inside, set in a diagonal net of red crosses. Around it, the border is a series of concentric frames: cream bands carrying a vine of small dark-red florets alternate with deep burgundy bands of tan hooks. A strip of small coloured squares, in cream, red, gold, navy and pink, runs across each end, just inside an olive-toned fringe.
