About this rug

L-shaped navy hooks, some holding small ivory-edged squares, stand among little six-petal flowers and tiny trees on the red centre of this Afghan Khal Mohammadi runner. Down the middle run five navy-black medallions shaped like stepped crosses, each with a red diamond of small flowers at its heart, and the navy-black border is broken into red octagons, each with a tree drawn in chevrons.
