About this rug

Pale and plain, this runner is woven from natural white jute that reads as a soft off-white, with faint grey flecks here and there. Up close, short slanting stitches sit in tight rows across the width and give a ribbed surface, and each end stops at a neat, unfringed edge. It was woven by hand in India, and either side can face up.

A passage about 84–104 cm wide takes its 310 × 64 cm comfortably. In a white or light-grey interior it brings texture without adding colour, and it can also run along a kitchen counter or a row of built-in cupboards. Explore more of our handmade rug collection.
