About this rug

Straw, sand and honey shades drift across this jute runner in loose bands, broken by paler cream rows, so the colour changes gently along its 305 cm length. It has no motif, border or fringe; the texture comes from twisted jute stitches that slant in rows, and both ends are finished flat. It was handwoven in India and is reversible.

A hallway of about 85–105 cm takes its 65 cm width, and the warm, sandy tones sit comfortably with timber floors, terracotta tiles and rattan or cane furniture. Our handmade runners and rugs include jute and wool pieces.
