About this rug

A slight green cast softens the grey-blue field of this Karachi Bokhara, a cool ground for fourteen guls drawn in rust red, ivory and charcoal. They are set two across and seven deep, with small charcoal crosses between them. Around the field, a row of rust-red eight-pointed rosettes runs through the main border between narrow ivory and charcoal stripes, and a band of fine diagonal lattice runs along the end, just short of the ivory fringe.
