About this rug

Warm sand and brown tones run through this floral Kashan. A compact taupe medallion with small pendants sits in a lobed beige field, which is filled with flower sprays in brown, dusky rose and a little slate. Sand-coloured corners and a sand border with brown and rose blossoms complete the frame, inside a series of narrow guard stripes.

At 290 × 193 cm, it can hold a sofa and two armchairs together in a sitting room about 3.5 m long and 2.5 m wide, and the wool pile, knotted in Iran, is about 13 mm deep. More floral designs are among our Kashan rugs.
