About this rug

A wine-red field, thick with ivory, navy and pink blossoms on fine stems, surrounds a pointed navy medallion. Inside it, an ivory ring of small red flowers encloses a pale blue core, and a navy palmette pendant hangs from each tip. The navy corners each finish in a small flash of light blue and ivory. Around them, the navy main border repeats palmettes in ivory, pink and light blue on scrolling vines, edged by camel-beige guard stripes.
