An elegant Persian Kashan rug featuring a detailed floral medallion design on a soft ivory and cream field, framed by beige and taupe borders. Navy blue, burgundy and muted gold accents add depth to its classic Persian pattern.

Hand knotted in Iran from 100% wool, this rug has a beautifully aged character and timeless appeal. Its neutral colour palette works well in both traditional and modern interiors.

About this rug

Small flowers crowd every part of the ivory field: navy and slate rosettes, curled leaves and buds in muted plum, rust and gold, all linked by fine stems. The medallion is an oval of stone beige with scalloped edges, enclosing ivory arabesques and a small navy flower, and beige-and-grey sprays fill the corners. The taupe main border carries plum and grey rosettes, and each guard stripe repeats a small grey motif on ivory.

Its 100% wool pile was hand-knotted in Kashan, Iran. Neutral and coloured examples fill our Persian Kashan collection.
