About this rug

Small charcoal crosses with four leafy arms are set in diagonal rows across a sand-beige field, so the whole centre reads as a fine diamond net, the layout of a Jaldar. Around it, a pale band carries a procession of round guls, some with ivory centres and others with rust, between many narrow stripes of charcoal and grey. A diamond trellis edges both short ends, which finish in white fringes.

In Pakistan, its 100% wool pile was hand-knotted onto a cotton foundation. It belongs to our Bokhara rugs collection.
