About this rug

Every gul on this akche runner sits inside its own bright red octagonal frame, and the frames link into two long chains down the centre. The guls themselves are small and dark, flecked with ivory, with dark stepped crosses between the chains. Along the sides, dark borders carry red curled leaves and a row of small red trefoils, and ivory chevrons stand in the end band above an ivory fringe.
