About this rug

No central medallion interrupts the wine-red field of this Ziegler chobi. Ivory and sand-gold palmettes and rosettes, touched with olive and soft ochre, repeat from end to end on a web of fine vines, so the pattern looks the same from every side. A wide pale ivory border frames it, carrying larger palmettes in gold, rust and olive between narrow guard stripes of small arrowhead shapes.
