A bold Afghan Kilim Barjesta centred on six monumental stepped medallions arranged in three balanced pairs. Their block-like red and navy forms create a powerful geometric rhythm across the warm beige field.

Small stylised birds appear along the central axis, accompanied by scattered floral and cross-shaped symbols. A striking border of hooked diamonds frames the field, followed by deep red lattice bands and several finely patterned guard borders. Striped panels finish both ends.

Raised wool sections emphasise the medallions and pictorial details, adding depth to the flatwoven kilim foundation.
