About this rug

Sky blue is the accent to look for in this brick-red Kashan. It sits at the very centre, inside an ivory lozenge framed by a lobed navy medallion, and turns up again in the navy corners and in the large palmettes of the navy main border. The rest of the field is covered in small red, cream, sage and gold blossoms on fine stems, drawn closely together.
