About this rug

Nine hooked medallions, five navy and four cream, run the length of this cherry-red Shirwan runner, each built around concentric diamonds in blue, salmon and red. Ivory rosettes and small stars fill the spaces between them. A cream border holds a chain of little brown-red octagons and star shapes, edged on both sides by periwinkle-blue stripes, and short fringes close both ends.
