About this rug

Five columns of small pale guls, each with a red and orange heart, cover the berry-red field of this akche, with gold cross-shaped stars between them. The borders combine a sky-blue band of golden octagons, saffron bands of small motifs and a band of diagonal stripes, with a green edge along both long sides and white fringes at the ends.
