About this rug

The upper part of this Afghan chobi prayer rug pictures a mosque: a golden dome above a navy arcade, two minarets with crescent finials and palm trees behind. Below, a beige mihrab arch stands between two navy columns, with a rust and navy lamp hanging from its peak and rose sprigs at its base. Rust spandrels with ivory leaves sit over the arch, and the rust border is filled with ivory leafy scrolls and sage-green rosettes.
