About this rug

The border takes up much of the width on this Akche runner: a wide trellis of dark stepped diamonds on red that continues across both ends. That leaves a narrower red channel down the middle, where two rows of small dark guls, each marked with an ivory zigzag, alternate with cross-shaped motifs outlined in white hooks. Tiny ivory dots trace the outer edge, and a cream fringe sits at each end.
