About this rug

Small and narrow at 153 × 90 cm, this Jaipur rug suits a bedside, an entrance hall or a study corner by the desk, where its maroon field and ivory corners can be seen close up. The maroon is shaped like a long arch at each end and sprinkled with tiny flowering sprigs around a black stepped medallion, pale sage at its centre, with a pendant at each tip. Ivory corner panels with grey-green and gold scrolls sit outside the arches, and a wide black border of ivory and grey tulip sprigs runs between thin maroon stripes, with white fringes on the short ends.
