About this rug

Small sage-green animal figures hide among the motifs on this brick-red Afghan Kazak, along with ivory daisies, navy stars and gold cross shapes holding dark fishbone trees. The three main medallions are hooked hexagons: sand gold at each end around a red and navy centre, and slate teal in the middle. A wide sand-gold border of red and sage hooked figures is edged by a narrow navy-black stripe.
