About this rug

Fine ivory lines trace the red octagons in the border of this Turkmen runner and many of the shapes in its field, which keeps the navy and red pattern sharp. Down the centre, five navy-black medallions with stepped sides and quartered centres sit among navy key shapes and small flowering sprigs on crimson. Each red octagon in the dark border holds a tree made of chevrons, and both ends are fringed in cream.
