About this rug

The crimson of this akhche runner is bright and clear, and its dark guls stand in two neat columns, each crossed in ivory, with stepped crosses tipped in ivory between them. Instead of a continuous lattice, the borders are divided into square panels, each holding a dark diamond dotted with ivory. A band of slanting stripes runs across the end like a barber's pole, and the fringe is short.
