About this rug

Brick red carries most of this Tabriz: a dense field of curling vines, palmettes and small blossoms surrounds a navy, many-lobed medallion with an ivory rosette at its centre. Large ivory corner pieces, scalloped along their inner edges, echo the medallion's flowers, and a navy main border runs a palmette vine in red, ivory and gold between rust-red guard stripes.
